The Digg Site would like to thank Marc for his role on the Board for consecutive terms as Vice President. As Vice President he led our Summer Documentary Film Workshop for three years. He has and will continue to be instrumental in assisting our organization to stay leaders in the field of Education.
In addition to his current position as Senior Content Creator at a marketing agency, he’s contributed to a World War II nonfiction book, judged a screenplay competition, and written for a decades-old publication called Famous Monsters of Filmland. He’s created a number of screenplays, short stories, and a novel (a second of which is in progress). He’s worked as a coordinator/producer for a nationwide film making workshop and competition called Fresh Films. Run by a Chicago-based short film company called Dreaming Tree Films, Fresh Films give teenagers from around the country the chance to learn more about the film making process firsthand. He oversaw the development process through to completion in myriad cities across the country, teaching teenagers all about casting, shooting, producing, editing, and any other subject necessary to create a stellar film. Upon completion, the finished product would enter an online competition and the teen winners would be flown to Los Angeles for the premiere.
